You will use, just depends how much
I have the strait and curved of this chunker. I use the curve the most. Curves are wonderful for blending those big fluffy Aussie butts in record time. Straits I grab ocationaly for smoothing curls and cow licks on the top line. I do not use them on little dogs or for debulking but my co worker does. With the unique row of teeth, I do not want to get too close to the skin, cause I bet these bad boys would leave the nastiest cut a shear could give. I have never found out though. For my hands they are a little big and awkward and I'm so much of a creature of habit that I grab my origanal set of shears alot and forget to use these sometimes. Another groomer I've worked with uses these more than her regular shears and loves them. She even uses them on reteiver hocks and feet. My co worker has borrowed mine all the time so I got her the strait pair for Christmas. She used them 3 times the day she opened them. I do need to play with the tention on mine a little, cause I noticed the tooth side is scratching marks into the oposite blade every time I open and close.
